Use records you are authorized to handle

Use the app with the course instructors’ permission and access to the selected Google files. Follow your institution’s rules for student records, approved devices, sharing and retention. The app is not an access-control lock and does not prevent downloads through Google Drive or other software.

Check the results

Handwriting recognition can make mistakes. Review the student, class, date and bin before confirming. Check the final Google Sheet before relying on it. An ERROR cell requires human review.

Save before you leave

Internet is required to save attendance and recovery to Google. Wait for confirmation before closing. Changes still in memory can be lost during a crash, power failure or forced exit. Only one reviewer should work on a particular PDF or session at a time.

Availability and access

The app depends on Windows, your internet connection and Google services. Your institution can restrict access. The app does not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect recognition or automatic recovery from every failure.

Protect your account

Use a secured device. Do not share authorization tokens. Follow course instructions for retaining original attendance papers and resolving disputed records.
